Show Us Your Boobs

So I've recently found a new video game affliction that has managed to suck every ounce of 'free' time from me for the past week. If you were one of the many who lost friends, lovers, or marriage partners compliments of a vicious Sims addition, then stop reading this now. If nudity and debauchery are not your cup of tea, then this is probably not the game for you. Now that you have been forewarned, I digress....

Playboy: The Mansion Review for PS2
This game is the wet dream Sims fantasy that you filthy minded gamers have been waiting for - especially if you're male. This game consists of sex, bunnies, and plenty of boobs. You are Hugh Hefner. Your overall goal is to establish and maintain the Playboy empire. This consists of hiring a staff of journalists, photographers, and Playmates. It also consists of throwing parties as well as meeting and greeting celebrities. The interface is identical to The Sims. You can remodel, add/delete items, and change various parameters as you see fit. The character interaction is also very similar as you are able to communicate and carry out actions with other characters. This includes making out, insulting, belittling, and yes even sex. You can maintain business and/or casual relationships, but multiple girlfriends can be tricky. The demographics for this game definitely lean towards the male gender, but I recommend everyone (perhaps 18 & over) checking this one out. If anything ladies, it's an opportunity to comprehend the male "lifestyle" and just how f*cked up boys really are. Only kidding boys....

Cheers

So you want to play.
Will I claw at dancing string?
Your ankle's closer.

There's no dignity
In being sick - which is why
I don't tell you where.

Seeking solitude
I am locked in the closet.
For once I need you.

The dog wags his tail,
Seeking approval. See mine?
Different message.

My brain: walnut-sized.
Yours: largest among primates.
Yet, who leaves for work?

Cats can't steal the breath
Of children. But if my tail's
Pulled again, I'll learn.

I don't mind being
Teased, any more than you mind
A skin graft or two.

So you call this thing
Your "cat carrier." I call
These my "blades of death."

A big thanks to Gerri for the hook up!

Illini Continue Best Start In School History With Twenty-Seventh Straight

How about that? With only three regular season games left, it appears as though my boys from Cham-Bana are going to ace the regular season schedule with no losses. I don't know about the other Orange and Blue nutsies, but I'm anxiously awaiting the real challenge NCAA Final Four style. I will refrain from tooting my favorite team's horn, but have you watched them? They are truly an amazing team, and the best in my history of following Illinois athletics. All we Illini fans can do now is pace the floor and wait for the madness to begin in March. I've paid my dues in losses via the last few football seasons so the retribution is rather nice especially during Big 10 play. Keep on keepin' on boys!

Hunter S. Thompson Dead?

I woke up this morning to some unfortunate news. One of the most influential journalists of all time, Hunter S. Thompson, has died at the age of 67. Now rather than dumping the heavily repeated facts about this outstanding character, I have decided to share my 1st HST experience (which was a mere 8-9 years ago). I was working at this crap job with a handful of other folks that shared similar interests. The release of Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas (the movie) was just around the corner when my peer introduced HST to me. I was handed a copy of the book, and away I read. I was blown away and amazed by the onslaught of insanity. Weeks later the words so freshly embedded in my brain were put in visual format compliments of Johnny Depp & Benicio Del Toro (and two tabs of LSD). And that, my friends, marked the beginning of my admiration and respect for one Hunter S. Thompson.

"Some may never live, but the crazy never die." (Hunter S. Thompson)
